About Me.

Welcome – I’m So Glad You’re Here!

I’m Tiffany Bentley, LCSW, and I specialize in trauma therapy for women. I use EMDR, ACT, mindfulness, and somatic approaches to support healing—not just symptom management. I believe in creating therapy spaces that are culturally grounded, emotionally safe, and collaborative.

I created Somatic Women for the ones who feel too much, give too much, and are learning to come home to themselves.

As a multicultural and multiracial therapist, I deeply understand the importance of honoring your unique identity and experiences. I’ve worked with many women who face similar struggles, and through this journey, I’ve seen how transformative it can be to have a space where you feel truly heard and understood.

My Approach

I work with women facing trauma, anxiety, and major life transitions, guiding them through evidence-based practices such as EMDR, ACT, and mindfulness. Whether you’re struggling with stress, managing difficult emotions, or simply seeking clarity during a life shift, I’m here to walk with you through it.

The world around us is full of quiet wisdom. What happens when you allow yourself to notice what’s already here?

A Bit About Me

I’ve always been fascinated by the strength that lives within us, even when life feels difficult. My journey to becoming a therapist was shaped by my own experiences with healing and a deep desire to help others unlock their potential.

Through my approach, I blend trauma-informed care with mindfulness practices to support you in making lasting changes. My goal is to help you build the emotional resilience you need to navigate whatever life throws your way. I believe that everyone has the capacity to rise above their challenges, and I’m here to help you find the tools and strength to do so.

Self-care is a vital part of this journey—for both you and me. For me, it means taking time to connect with the people and animals who nourish my soul, staying active through yoga and running, and keeping my mind sharp with activities like reading and cooking. It also involves being honest with myself, setting boundaries, and reflecting on my growth. Nature is a big part of this, too—being outside helps me feel grounded and reminds me to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with what really matters. I strive to practice what I teach because I know that taking care of myself allows me to show up as my best—fully present and ready to support you.

When I work with clients, my ultimate hope is that they feel empowered to take the driver’s seat in their lives. Life will always present obstacles, but with the right support and skills, you can meet them head-on. It’s about knowing that you have what it takes to navigate through, and I’ll be there to support you every step of the way. I’m not only here to help you step out of what isn’t working but also to guide you toward stepping into a life that aligns with your values and true self.

Somatic Women is conscious of and has thoughtfully considered its use of the term women/woman. We use these terms to refer to anyone who self-identifies as a woman, regardless of sex assigned at birth, gender expression, or gender identity. Our goal is to create a space that is inclusive, respectful, and welcoming to women across the spectrum of gender and gender expression.
